Set-up will start at 8 AM Saturday and teardown will start at 11 AM Sunday.

The Convair/220 Club will be holding its Field Day at the Kearny Mesa Rec Center park area located at 3170 Armstrong Street (near Mesa College.) This is the same site we used last year (2007). We are planning to operate in the SDG 2A class. This means we will have two complete HF stations on the air, operating 80 thru 10 meters. Also we plan to have a vhf/uhf station and possibly some digital modes.

We encourage all members, guests and visitors to come out and operate for at least a few minutes or a few hours. Also help with setup or teardown would be appreciated.

For lunch pizza will be served and for dinner we will have fried chicken and salad. Snacks, coffee and soft drinks will be available all day..

As an educational event, Ed, W6OYJ will present a demo of “Coffee Can Microwave Communications”.

This should be a fun event so be sure to join us for Field Day.
